Volunteer Hour Tracking
Volunteer Hours Policy
Able Athletics tracks volunteer hours for reporting, recognition, and program evaluation purposes. The organization’s preferred tracking method is through Point.
Volunteer hours will be approved only if they meet one of the following criteria:
• The hours were completed at an Able Athletics–run program, event, or clinic, or
• The hours were completed as part of a volunteer activity that received prior approval from Able Athletics staff.
Volunteer hours submitted for self-initiated activities that were not approved in advance by Able Athletics may not be accepted or credited.
Able Athletics reserves the right to review, approve, or deny submitted volunteer hours to ensure alignment with organizational policies and program standards.
Pre-Approval of Volunteer Activities
Volunteers seeking to earn credit for activities outside of Able Athletics–run programs or events must request approval in advance.
Requests for pre-approval should be submitted via email to volunteer@ableathletics.org and must include:
• A brief description of the proposed activity
• The date(s) and estimated number of hours
• The purpose of the activity and how it supports Able Athletics’ mission
Approval must be received prior to completing the activity in order for hours to be eligible for credit.
Volunteers must submit their hours through the designated Able Athletics tracking system after completing an approved activity or event. Submissions should be accurate and timely.
All submitted volunteer hours are subject to review by Able Athletics staff. Able Athletics reserves the right to approve, deny, or adjust submitted hours to ensure consistency with organizational policies and program standards.
Hours submitted for activities that were not approved in advance may not be credited
